Your VFW4709 has partnered with the American Legion 411 to celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary. Come join up on July 4th, 2026, at the VFW 1303 W. Semands Ave Conroe, TX 77301 starting at 2:20PM. The 4th of July should be about kids running through a sprinkle with a hotdog in one hand and a sparkler in the other while a small-town mayor gives a speech.

While the activities are still being brought together we so far have:

• Live Music with the band Side Hustle

• Free Hot Dogs and soft Drinks provided by the Conroe Knights of Columbus

• The Conroe Fire Department is bringing a fire truck and a cooling tent

• Tomahawk throw (for kids) with a Grand Prize of a hoverboard

• Cornhole tournament (For adults)

• Silent Auction and door prizes

• Fry Daddy’s food truck

• K-star remote prize truck

• and MUCH MORE!

We need YOUR help because this isn’t your normal small event. This will be the biggest celebration in Conroe! Please donate to this event and if money is tight consider donating something for the Silent Auction or as a prize.
