OPEN TO THE PUBLIC VFW Post 4709 is honored to welcome Chaplain Jim Russell (US Army Retired, US Secret Service & ICE Chaplain HFO, Magnolia VFW Post 12213 Chaplain). Jim is dedicated to helping Veterans and their families navigate through one of the hardest times in their lives. Please spread the word about this training and make it a priority to attend. SINCE 2001 OVER 120,000 VETERANS have committed suicide. It is estimated that 22 veterans per day commit suicide and the # of Ideations is 5 times as many. Preparing to assist these veterans and being trained to spot the signs, systems, and reasons is crucial to helping Veterans and civilians alike.
